Posterior direct composite resins have become a common day to day treatment modality in the 21st century. However, many treatment protocols require complex polychromatic layering techniques which are technically demanding and require multiple shades of resin and a plethora of instruments. These techniques are unpredictable in all but the most skilled hands, and require lengthy appointments. The philosophy of the course is to introduce a more simple technique resulting in aesthetic restorations with firm proximal contacts which require little occlusal adjustment. The technique uses instruments common to all dental offices and minimal shades of composite and is suitable for all dentists who place posterior resins... both beginner and master alike.
